A great day out exploring the full length of the Greenway (took us approx 1 hour either way) and local area - a couple of lovely little coffee shops and villages to look around - the full length of the greenway is away from the main road and traffic with great views.

Highly recommend for anyone visiting Carlingford to try (even if there’s a spot of rain). It was a last minute decision for us, and they were more than helpful when accommodating us. Gave a detail explanation of the bikes and the best routes to take.
Best part is they even have a wee coffee shack for a cappuccino pre and post cycle!

Where is the pickup location and what food options are available at Carlingford?
Meet us at the Escape HQ depot on Newry St, when facing Centra shop, turn right and we are up there 100 metres on left. Wildwood Street Food Cafe are serving all sorts of delicousness from 10am to 4pm daily!
Can reservations be rescheduled instead of cancelled?
If weather conditions are not suitable for cycling or plans change, we will endeavor to give you a different day/time slot. We havent disapointed yet!
How long is the Carlingford Greenway round trip, and how much time does it usually take to complete?
The Carlingford Greenway runs to the neighbouring village of Omeath and the round trip is approx 15km. Almost all flat bar 1 hill down into Marina and 90% is off public roads so very relaxing! It will take on average 2 - 3 hours depending on ability/kids etc
What are the recommended bike hire options for cycling the Greenway and for exploring beyond it?
The 4-hour hire option is ideal for cycling the Greenway, while a full day hire is recommended for exploring further afield.
